Microsoft® Office Excel 2010: Level 1

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet application that allows people to insert and manipulate data. It features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications. This is the first level of three Microsoft® Office Excel 2010 courses. In Microsoft® Office Excel® 2010: Level 1, you created, edited, formatted, and printed basic spreadsheets. Level 2 will teach you how streamline repetitive tasks and display spreadsheet data in more visually effective ways. In this course, you will use advanced formulas and work with various tools to analyze data in spreadsheets using Microsoft® Excel 2010. You will also organize table data, present data as charts, and enhance the look and appeal of workbooks by adding graphical objects.

Your training in and use of Microsoft® Office Excel® 2010 has provided you with a solid foundation in the basic and intermediate skills for working in Excel. You have used Excel to perform tasks such as running calculations on data and sorting and filtering numeric data. In this course, you will extend your knowledge into some of the more specialized and advanced capabilities of Excel by automating some common tasks, applying advanced analysis techniques to more complex data sets, troubleshooting errors, collaborating on worksheets with others, and sharing Excel data with other applications.
